During the summer of 2022, I had an internship with Marposs S.A de C.V, in their Mexico City location, in Mexico. In this short time, I learned a lot about the culture of Mexico, the structure of the business, and what relationships are like between people. I was also able to improve my Spanish significantly, as for one month, that was the only language I conversed in. Marposs is a part processing and manufacturing company, with many locations all around the world.

 

During my time with them, I worked in several different areas of the company. I got to work with the human resources, accounting, and marketing departments on different initiatives. Some of my duties included assisting in the planning of corporate events, doing account reconciliations, and designing newsletters to send to customers.
